Product description

CS3-4M Features:

is a multifunctional time relay for controlling resistive (light bulbs) and inductive loads (fans) with the option of mounting under a switch and in a connection without a neutral wire.

Eight functions of the CS3-4M:

  • time delay with the possibility of interruption
  • delayed shutdown (similar to CS3-1)
  • multi-time relay with blocking
  • time relay without blocking option
  • impulse relay (control from multiple locations)
  • delayed switching
  • delayed switching on and off
  • blinker

A big advantage is the linear time setting (roughly using a switch, finely using a trimmer), connection WITHOUT NEUTRAL CONDUCTOR and setting of the following 8 functions.

Explanation of CS3-4M functions:

1. Time relay with interrupt option

The load and timing will be switched on immediately after pressing the button. By pressing the button again during the timing, the load can be switched off.

2. Delayed shutdown (similar to CS3-1)

The load is switched on when the button is released, and the load is switched off after a timeout.

3. Multi-time relay with interlock
The set time is multiplied by the number of times the button is pressed (max. 5 times). The time is reset when the button is pressed the sixth time. If the button is pressed for about 3 seconds during timing, the load is turned off.

4. Time relay without interruption
The load is switched on and the timing starts immediately after the button is pressed. After the timing has elapsed, the load is switched off.

5. Impulse relay (control from multiple locations)
Pressing the button turns the load on and pressing the button again turns the load off. The length of time the button is pressed does not matter.

6. Delayed switching
After pressing the button, the set time (delay) elapses, then the load is switched on, which lasts until the button is released.

7. Delayed switching on and off
After pressing the button, the set time (delay) elapses, followed by the load switching on. After releasing the button, the load switches off with the same delay.

8. Flasher
When the button is pressed continuously, the load switches at the set time intervals 1:1.
