Cleaning mixture Q-400 for sludge and deposits AV EQUEN - Q400/01
Q400 cleaning compound is designed to remove sludge, dirt and deposits in new and existing heating and cooling systems. The product is suitable for flushing/cleaning new systems after installation and for removing dirt from existing systems.

Dosage and application:
Fill the system with water and add Q400 cleaning mixture at a rate of 1%, i.e. 1 l per 100 l of total water volume in the system. Clean at room temperature and ensure constant circulation of the mixture in the system. Increasing the temperature and concentration of the product increases its effectiveness.
New system:
A) The system can be flushed within 24 hours with an external pump at a concentration of 1%. The cleaning will take place away from the heat source. We then recommend installing an ULTIMA series filter on the system (e.g. SafeCleaner 1, MB1, MB100). Then flush the system and fill it with treated water (e.g. using the AVDK 1000 Comfort demineralization unit), apply the Q100 series inhibitor mixture and the Q700 biocide.
B) The system can be cleaned during operation with a concentration of 0.5%, after which the system does not need to be
drain, but it is important to install an ULTIMA series filter (e.g. SafeCleaner 1, MB1,
MB100).
Existing system:
The system can be cleaned using an external pump with a concentration of 1-5%, but we recommend cleaning using the on-line method (while the system is running). It is important to install an ULTIMA series filter (e.g. SafeCleaner, MB1, MB100) before cleaning. The cleaning time is 1-4 weeks (usually 10 days). Then flush the system and fill it with treated water (e.g. using the AVDK 1000 Comfort demineralization unit), apply the Q100 series inhibitor mixture and the Q700 biocide.

Storage:
Store in tightly closed, original containers in a cool (+10°C to +35°C), dry and well-ventilated place for the intended purpose. When stored correctly, the product is stable for 24 months.
Safety precautions:
The mixture is not classified as hazardous according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
