Chemical and physical properties
Dosage and application
Cathodic-anodic multimetal measurable corrosion inhibitor with film-forming effect for all commonly used types of metals, including aluminum, also suitable for glycol liquids. Manufactured in accordance with ČSN 14868. Basic dosage 1:100, recommended frequency for adding the inhibitor every 3 years, recommended control of the concentration of the active substance every year. The expected loss of inhibitor in the 1st year, depending on the condition of the heating system, is 30-50%, in subsequent years it is up to 30%.
We recommend applying the product to a cleaned system - a new system free of assembly and passivation products, an old system free of corrosion, calcium deposits (scale), bacteria and sludge. In the case of applying the inhibitor Q100 Basic to a contaminated system, the inhibitor may partially act as a solvent for deposits and impurities, which may cause the operating water to become cloudy or discolored and may contain dissolved (removed) impurities.
Before commissioning, fill the system with water according to the boiler manufacturer's requirements (water treatment using the AVDK 1000 demineralization unit) and add Q100 Basic in an amount of 1% of the system volume, i.e. 1 liter per 100 liters. Measure the concentration of the product at least once a year using the AVS100 set. Leave the inhibitor in the system, do not drain it.
Safety precautions
The mixture is not classified as hazardous according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
