Where to install CO detectors?

Carbon monoxide is the same density as air and therefore disperses evenly throughout the room. However, as CO gas is a product of the combustion process, it is likely to be warmer than the surrounding air and will therefore rise towards the ceiling. It is therefore ideal to install a detector in every room where there is a fuel-burning appliance. We also recommend installing them in bedrooms and rooms where you spend a lot of time.

How does it work?

Simply download the app to your Apple or Android smart device and activate data transfer on your detector by pressing the corresponding button three times. Retrieving a device status report takes just a few seconds. You can choose to transfer data from multiple devices installed on your property and merge the status reports of these devices into a single service report. This service report can then be shared via email or saved directly to cloud storage services such as OneDrive.
