Cleaning mixture Q8010 for rust and limescale AV EQUEN - Q8010/01

Q8010 cleaning mixture is designed to remove limescale and rust in exchangers and heating elements. Suitable for steel, copper, brass, stainless steel systems, except aluminum.

Dosage and application:

Dilution ratios:

• 5% minimum effective concentration of the mixture
• 10% recommended mixture concentration
  

Dilute the product with water to the desired concentration of 5–10%, i.e. 5–10 l of Q8010 per 100 l of water (pour the Q8010 product into the water – in this order!). Apply the diluted Q8010 cleaning mixture to the system and ensure constant circulation for 2–3 hours. When dissolving deposits (especially calcium deposits), a violent reaction occurs and gas is developed, therefore it is always necessary to ensure degassing of the cleaned equipment throughout the circulation of the cleaning agent (it is optimal to use a circulation pump with an open container). During the dissolution of calcium deposits, the capacity of the product is depleted, which is manifested by the pH value rising (to approximately 2.6) and the gas development ceasing. If deposits still remain in the system, it is necessary to use fresh solution after draining the used solution. After cleaning, drain the system and rinse it thoroughly with water. Neutralize the drained mixture using Q8010 neutralizer in a container outside the system. Then fill the system with treated water (e.g. using an AVDK 1000 demineralization unit), apply the Q100 series inhibitor mixture.

P301+P330+P331 IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. DO NOT induce vomiting.
P303+P361+P353 IF ON SKIN: Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower.
P305+P351+P338 IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
P310 Immediately call a Poisons Information Centre or doctor/physician.

Storage:

Store in tightly closed, original packaging in a cool (+5°C to +25°C), dry and well-ventilated place for the intended purpose.
When stored properly, the product is stable for 12 months.
